 An Everlasting Aversion

Anything which we have aversion to,

An aversion which last forever,

Aversion to the things hard to understand,

An aversion to the people who disrespect you,

Always an aversion to problems that seems to have no solution,

An aversion to sudden climatic changes,

Aversion towards people who try to cheat,

People who are dominating,

People who always tell something contradictory,

Aversion towards things that does not match our expectations,

An everlasting aversion is there for everyone,

Which is like the poles of the magnet that repel,

This aversion is always there,

Aversion towards ungodly things,

Aversion towards discrimination,

An aversion is always there for everyone,

An aversion caused due to intolerance.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
