Poem 58 : The Days Runout

 The Days Runout
                             - T ABRAHAM

The day one has started,

A New Year has begun,

'I am going to do something special', tells my mind,

Is it achievable or not?

Yes or no?

Goals that can be accomplished,

Dreams that are hard to catch upon,

The time flies,

No time travel possible,

The days went by are good old days,

The days went by were the darkest of my life,

My success and my mistakes,

Keep up your hard work,

Your efforts do not go unrewarded,

Got to meet many people,

Some valuable, some insignificant,

Hold on to the valuable ones,

Never let the hold go away,

Discard your mistakes and the insignificant presence,

They had made you learn something,

Something not to be repeated again,

Nostalgia has been formed,

Nostalgic feelings pop up in my heart,

Mixed feelings and emotions always accompany,

Now has the day come,

The last day to look upon,

There ends one year,

Memories to cherish,

Memories to burry underground,

Nostalgic feelings come upon,

But move on,

The next day is a New Year.
