Poem 60 : Purpose Unfulfilled
Purpose Unfulfilled
- T ABRAHAM
Felt lost or disturbed,
Felt like a wavering flame,
Nothing goes straight,
Everything falls down,
Just like the fallen fruit,
Just as it rots out.
It is a life with a purpose,
No life is possible,
No tranquility possible,
Never would you attain peace of mind,
Never are you going to accomplish,
Walking in a dark night road,
Fear about the tragedies,
No light visible can be seen.
But my heart started to drain,
Keeps on draining out,
No life blood is left,
Took a short break,
Not a long pause,
But it felt like two years have gone,
But just fifty days,
Fifty days felt like five hundred,
Came away by misunderstanding,
Fallen apart due to worldly pleasures,
But wait, I am thinking,
Thinking and thinking and thinking,
Not a philosopher though,
Not flying in an unrealistic world,
Travelling into the world of misery,
The road with darkness,
My soul is disturbed and distressed,
Soul might get dammed,
Potentials unused nearing death.
But my heart got its life blood,
Just as it drained out day by day,
In one minute or one second,
Or one microsecond or millisecond,
Not sure, but it bloomed,
I have a purpose,
A God given life,
Life needs this purpose,
Not a mere survival,
Soul can better fly away,
Rather than survive,
Got back to my world,
The world of reality is beautiful,
The beauty is hard to be kept up,
But fight with these forces,
Opposing forces,
Every purpose has to be fulfilled,
No purpose can be left unfulfilled.
