Poem 56 : I am the Exception

 I am The Exception
                            - T ABRAHAM

Exceptions do exist everywhere,

At all times and all places,

Unique people are exceptions,

The curved line is an exception,

An original work is an exception,

An immovable thing is an exception,

Honesty is an exception and so is sincerity,

Consistency is an exception,

So is Doctor Faustus an exception.

Unique and charming,

Majestic and great,

The devil keeps watching for a misery,

As an idle mind is a devil's workshop,

The devil tries to enter the human mind,

An ideal human with a pure heart,

Temptations and trials come,

Makes your life hard and rough,

The devil tries to reach stepwise,

But wait,

I am wavered like a wavering flame,

My mind at times is like a cloud,

My heart at times is worn out,

Tough situations comes in,

Providing space for the demon to come in,

But give the devil a slap,

The devil is shocked,

'You worthless and evil creature', my heart shouts,

Get away, go far away from this place,

Never is my mind your workspace,

It is always to my Lord,

It is always to my almighty God,

My spirits are wavering,

But never will you enter,

Faustus has wavered,

But not I,

Life was a tragedy for the knowledgeable Faustus,

But not for me,

My knowledge and strength is from the Lord,

Never am I unwilling to sacrifice something for my almighty creator,

So I am an exception,

Exception in all places I go,

Exception in all places I dwell,

So does the exception becomes unique,

So does the uniqueness always shines bright in me.
