Why does everything has an end ?

Be it joy and happiness,

Or the sorrow and sadness,

As everything starts, everything ends,

No sorrow forever to make us worse,

To be always clouded with doubts,

It is not possible,

No happiness forever to let us in joy,

Every taste of feeling comes,

Take a pinch of it,

Just like the salt in our food,

Excess is a waste and so is it's absence,

So make up your mind,

Life has ups and downs,

No permanent ups nor destructive downs,

Everything has a beginning,

So does it ends.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
