Poem 102 : The Bubbling Pot

 The Bubbling Pot
                               - T ABRAHAM

Bubbling in happiness and joy,

My heart is bubbling,

The cheerful and pure blood,

Fills up my limbs and soul,

The season has come here,

After a fortnight plus one,

It is bubbling everywhere,

Pots with milk, jaggery and rice,

Turmeric as it's spice,

The one which fights the germs,

Germs of sadness and gloom.

The year blooms with a lots of happiness,

The sweetness is shared everywhere,

People on their glamorous colours,

Strolling around everywhere,

It is the tradition they say,

It is a happiness today,

The pot bubbles with foam,

And with a joyous air,

They all went home.

Poem 101 : The Drops That Pause

 The Drops That Pause

The drops of the sky,

That pops from the clouds,

Drops to fill up the land,

Puddles to be careful about,

It makes me pause at times,

Pausing from my routine,

Pausing from the rush,

It pauses the vehicles,

It blocks my way,

Puddles to look about,

Land filled with mud,

My soles getting dipped,

I am about to trip,

But I do not want this,

Puddles everywhere to pause,

These drops make me pause,

I tell you, it makes me pause.

Poem 100 : Charged With Hope

 Charged With Hope
                           - T ABRAHAM

Electricity charges many things,

Charges are flowing everywhere,

The first day of the year charges me,

It charges you and everyone,

I am charged with hope and faith,

Waiting for miracles to happen,

I am waiting for many answers,

Answers from above the skies,

I am waiting patiently and quietly,

Accepting my life as it is,

Hoping for many things to come,

Waiting for joy and peace to come.

Just as the flower bloom,

So does the days come,

Days of happiness and gloom,

Everyday has something new,

We enjoy only a few,

The twelfth flower has bloomed,

The last flower to bloom,

But still it fades away,

The time takes it away.

Poem 98 : Toil Has Made Me Strong

 Toil Has Made Me Strong

I toiled in this soil,

For years which have passed on,

Many hurdles to jump,

Many struggles came my way,

I was toiled physically,

I was strained mentally,

I was torn emotionally,

All these things made me up,

The person who I am,

Once was so weak,

The intersection had no point,

But all these three spheres,

Have a point pierced,

The point where I stand now,

I am stronger and the strongest,

I am strong enough now,

To give you back everything,

I am mentally and physically strong,

Strong enough to root out the wrong.

Poem 97 : The Mini Lunch

It's been four cycles,

The earth has revolved four times,

This memory is still in my heart.

The days we had our lunch,

Inside the classrooms,

No contamination nor infection,

Nothing to be scared about,

A wonderful environment,

All the days were yielding,

Many fruits to cherish,

A fruitful year,

A blissful year,

But time has passed,

The days we had shared,

The days we have cared,

Different dishes to share,

Just one mouth of yours,

Just one bite from mine,

It was not just food,

But love and kindness,

Ingested to be digested,

Humanity into digestion,

Then absorption and assimilation,

It passed all over,

Not just the blood carried it,

But my soul has it,

Soul with humanity,

I won't get such a time,

The time which flies away,

The time which keeps passing away,

The mini lunch we had,

The small kindness that we shared.

Poem 96 : Known And Unknown

 Known and Unknown
                                        - T ABRAHAM

https://www.123rf.com/photo_157624718_puzzled-businessman-thinking-with-hand-on-chin-isolated-vector-cartoon-character.html

I knew you,

I have seen you,

I have seen this coin,

The coin on both sides,

The best and the worst,

I have seen it already,

I know the misery you cause,

To know is always better,

The known fact cautions me,

It cautions me from everything,

Every trouble and misfortunes.

Something is unknown,

It is really a threat to me,

I don't know the disaster you cause,

I knew not the crime you did,

I judged a book by it's cover,

But this book turned out to be danger,

The most worst of all I knew,

The new coin lying on the road,

If left untouched is good,

But the other way is a disaster,

The unknown disaster on the way.

Knowing seems scary,

I am afraid to know,

The truth about you,

The curtains of the stage opens,

So does my heart pounds,

But the truth is unleashed,

The unknown is waiting,

Quite, silent and still,

But just as the sea is raising,

It raised up from it's tranquility,

It washed away my life completely,

It was a complete disaster.
