Energy of purity diminished,

Foul and regressive words, splashed out,

Whiteness of death is felt ringing,

Colourful words in life are missing,

Energy emanating impurity,

Misuse of power and authority,

Falseness prevailing in the land,

Weeds growing between two lands,

Crops and food are no more grown,

Smoke and fumes of death, surrounding,

Mobs of false words and evil rounding,

Encircled by the tough weather,

Struggles and challenges flowing,

Accusations and false claims following,

Impurity being preached in the land,

Forever will it be drained,

None to help it, hand in hand.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read.
