Poem 225 : A Painful Past

 A Painful Past

Memory is painful,

Flashing back and forth,

Brokenness and disordered,

Peace in turmoil and dis-ease,

Deception walked in to please,

One glass turning to pieces,

Shattered down and broken,

Trust and truth shattered away,

All piercing and tearing apart,

Bloodless bleeding of the mind,

Happiness departed away in peace,

Rest in peace! happiness and joy,

Trauma and turmoil wavering about,

Sickness conquering the self,

A sickness of the body,

Infesting the mind at its phase,

Fooled with the words and sight,

The dimness present in the light,

Shattered glasses ever piercing the mind,

A painful past, where all is lost.
