Energy giving colours of the world,

My heart starts pumping more blood,

Earthly colours of brown, blue and green,

The soil spread all around in a dream,

Blue sky of cooling quality, a cool entity,

Green life, giving the air, it gently cares,

Clothed in the colours of the earth,

The brown and khaki of masculinity,

Blueness coming with neutrality,

A green mother earth for the femininity,

Colours to stop the human insanity,

And forever maintaining the purity.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
