Poem 192 : The Adulthood

 The Adulthood

Musicality of the life stopping,

Carelessness and gentleness fading,

Dependence changing to independence,

Happiness and politeness losing their essence,

An ever chattering noise box,

Turning into an air of silence,

Cunning and swift as a fox,

The seed turned into a fruit,

The fruit to be harvested,

Ripened ones already in the basket,

Silence is valued and preserved,

Earthly life strongly observed,

Morality and ethics strictly conserved,

Maturity is gifted and rightly deserved,

Bearded with passion and desire,

Difficulties of the past,

The frightening nature ever lost,

Evilness and rottenness of the world,

Never will it touch the heart and mind,

Materialistic pleasures are diminished,

Achievements are now cherished,

Gifts of artificiality rejected,

A briefcase of knowledge is collected,

Approachable for kindness,

But now protected by roughness,

A mature roughness present forever.
