Poem 188 : Passive Strength

 Passive Strength

Manuscripts of the past,

Browning and yellowing down,

Reverberated from the heart, deep down,

Eyes rolling and capturing all,

Passiveness making a call,

Words joined, making a simple gown,

Whiteness and purity in simplicity,

Heaviness in heavenly words written,

Lightness in lips and heart in return,

Branches growing deep inside,

Strong natured, and a song growing,

Versified verses written long back,

The tree of mind is browning within,

Fruits of wisdom and words given out,

Freely given but none to receive,

Plentitude and riches to deceive.
