 Like A Fine Wine

The book of life unlocking the mystery,

Pages written down creating the history,

Sweetness and plump at the tree,

The stages move up as one, two and three,

First stage of growth done internally,

Growing and ripening insanity,

The glowing wondrous maturity,

Child-like and innocent being,

Hanging on the tree growing,

Second stage of growth done externally,

Less hairy and shaggy with purity,

Brokenness in innocence and child,

The child within is vanishing,

A man is born within and beyond,

The final step is reached within,

Hairy and shaggy with wild eyes,

The chapters moving to a climax,

History turning into a mystery,

Gentlemanly and wildness intersecting,

Primitiveness of the land and nativity,

Nativity and the native-land recovering,

The bearded wildness causing chillness,

Like a fine wine, I am growing.
