Poem 27 : Abundant Luxuries

 Abundant Luxuries

                                - T ABRAHAM

To live a life, to barely survive, you need something,

Need to eat, drink, sleep and a family,

Need is survival without comforts,

But want is, I want it,

I want comforts, happiness and materialistic pleasure,

I want a car, I want to eat at the hotel,

I want something expensive,

Want is a choice,

Choice of the rich and unreachable by the poor,

Luxury in everything,

Produces waste in everything,

The ones that were wanted one day,

Became unwanted now,

More of waste in luxury,

Luxury due to the money,

Luxury under a control brings joy,

When uncontrollable becomes destruction and dominance.
