Poem 286 : Incipient Soreness

 Incipient Soreness
                                 - T ABRAHAM

A diminishing strong witness,

Eagerness in awaited moment,

Internalised rejections in play,

Moving away from a grandeur,

The candle wick boldly burning,

A force which keeps it glowing,

Old being burnt down for new,

Ashes with the essence of old,

Confirming an everlasting presence,

Normal vision unable to envision,

Peopled places in utter confusion,

Becoming beyond comprehension,

A crowd with the same emptiness,

Being hindered by a doubtful cloud,

Predetermination being easily misled,

Determination in an utter blindness,

Whole atmosphere with strangeness,

Crowd being clouded with doubts,

A candle fire burning and burning,

Where its vision becomes confusing,

Candled passion is diffusing within,

The clouded crowd landing in loss.
