Poem 153 : The Bearable

 The Bearable
                           - T ABRAHAM

(SOURCE: AI GENERATED IMAGE)

The discomfort in new places,

Unknown and new faces,

I am a foreigner in this land,

It is tolerable and I can.

The mocking voices,

And wavering choices,

The bullies and giggles,

It is bearable and I can.

The false claim,

Insult of my name,

An unwavering gossip,

It is unbearable but I can.

The disrespect and abuse,

A tiresome disrepute,

None to turn for comfort,

I am leaving forever.

The bearable is no more,

It is unbearable for ever more.
