Desire to become,

Waiting for something,

Desire to have it,

Waiting to move on,

Desires and wants are luxury,

Waiting and needs are essential,

The Almighty provides us,

Provides us with our needs,

Need to survive or live,

But not with the luxuries,

Materialistic luxuries kept unfulfilled,

Do you have a need or want ?

Want is not a need,

Need cannot be want,

So does the time goes on.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students. I read the same book, I watched the same videos, But how come ? I don't know ! I don't know ! What language is he speaking ? What book is he reading ? But it seems the same, It's looks like the same German, Hindi, Tamil and English, Which I too learn, But the way it is let out, the way it is heard, Tells me that I know nothing. I told it to my dearest one, The one who also feels the same, Then, he told me, In no way we lag behind, It's just the differences that exist, Everyone has different voice, slang and expression, Everyone is unique, Everyone lags in some and masters in other, Now understood, Why I didn't know everything ?   That's the truth.

A visit to an Ancient Architecture - 27/05/2023

 These days when we look around us we usually witness a sight which usually has buildings of fancy designs and architecture. It's really very rare to see houses, especially independent houses as many areas are getting converted to apartment complexes.  So, getting a sight of an individual house is really very rare and that too if it has to be an older one it is something impossible. Many of us either go for the new and developed architectural designs and demolish the old structure completely or else we renovate our houses. But, when we think of the age old adage which says, 'Old is Gold', it's true in almost all cases except a few. This adage stands good especially for the buildings and houses constructed these days.
