Poem 104 : Something to Everything

 Something to Everything
                                        - T ABRAHAM 

My journey begins with something,

With something in my hands,

Something to sustain and some money,

With something in my mind,

My mind has some hope and faith.

Every journey is landing in between,

I am standing at the station,

A station called 'nothingness',

No hope, money nor faith,

But I stay humble to my Lord,

The Almighty is testing me,

My patience and my faith,

Something to nothing,

Every journey brings us here,

I am reaching my destiny,

The destiny where I get anything,

Where I am blessed with everything,

I am landed here,

From nothing to everything.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
