 The Pathway

I am thinking and thinking,

What to do next ?

Move to the right,

Or move to the left,

Just stuck between,

Two turns but one choice,

Choice that matters a lot,

This demands my thought,

Where is the light ?

The true light,

The true way,

The true destiny,

The destiny for success,

The place called as heaven,

The rocks are everywhere,

Always piercing my sole,

But the way is laid,

The way guided by truth,

The destiny is higher,

But the choice is yours,

Worldly pleasures or,

Eternal happiness,

Hard to choose upon,

The appearance is different,

The inner beauty is the truth,

At last I found my path,

The path that leads my heart and soul,

To its eternal destiny by God.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
