Poem 67 : The Cold Water

 The Cold Water
                              - T ABRAHAM

Just express yourself,
Just tell me what,
Not worried about your words,
Pour the cold water,
Pour it over the work of art,
Pour it out as words,
But these words does not prick me,
It's my work,
It's my unique creation,
I will swim in the cold water you pour,
It is summer here,
So never mind,
Tell it directly,
Don't beat around the bush,
I have the will,
My words are simple,
Against grammar but loves literature,
Your rejection is just mere words,
Words like the foul air,
The clean air carries it away,
The odour is not forever,
My grammar is not grating,
But your words are grating your mind,
My words are simple,
So do I keep things simple,
Don't complicate things,
I tell you, 'Express yourself'
Show your colour,
I am happy to see it.
