Poem 65 : Threads Of My Heart

 Threads Of My Heart
                                - T ABRAHAM

My heart has threads,
Threads to hold it together,
Each forms a layer,
Layers like a cake,
My heart is like the cake,
A cake with it's slices,
My heart with it's threads,
These threads makes my feelings come out,
Feelings of anger, bitterness and betrayal,
Feelings of joy, happiness and trust,
My inner heart is me,
Just like the lowest piece,
The largest with cream,
So is my heart,
With it's innate qualities.
The threads cover my heart,
With all these layers,
Layers of soft, spongy and creaminess,
Iced with the topping,
The unique cherry found nowhere,
These threads loosen up,
Or is felt tight,
Just as I am happy,
I am sad too,
But so does the sadness is removed,
The thread of happiness is the thread,
The thread with which my heart is sewn.
