Poem 41 : I Still Remember

 I Still Remember

                       - T ABRAHAM

Sweet memories does not fade away,

As they are bonded with our hearts,

They are the truth and nothing else to be cherished,

There was a time when I was passionate about something,

But wasn't fulfilled though,

Trials and temptations,

Challenges and failures,

All crowded around me,

Like a thick crowd during festive seasons,

Like markets and bazaars overflowing with the crowd,

Many thoughts overflowed in my mind,

Aspired to work with the microbes,

Passionate about scientific research,

But our story of life is not written entirely by us,

That day I remember,

The day when I had begun my journey,

An entirely different path to travel,

Easy to accept though,

Hard to comprehend,

But time and space made the ease,

Now it's the journey with one destination,

The destiny is fixed,

The trials and temptations won't ruin,

There is no ruin, unless you do it yourself,

Let the story be put to action,

Lets not close the book,

Nor let the pen down.
