 You are a Hypocrite

You speak one thing,

The action is different,

You smile at me,

But shout at me the next second,

Your words and actions doesn't match,

You tell you pray for me,

Did you pray to God ?

Or did you serve the Satan ?

You said your blessings will be with me always,

Did you bless me or curse me ?

I don't want your curses in the name of prayers,

Your Satanic temptations in the name of help,

Your actions doesn't match your words,

Did you wish me 'All the Best' or 'Hope for the Worst' ?

'You are a hypocrite', I say,

You always keep something hidden,

To cause a tragedy in my life,

A downfall in the name of appraisal,

'You are the best of all hypocrites', I say,

Whose presence ruins ones life forever.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
