 A Stormy Day

It is a day when the breeze starts,

This breeze slowly turns to wind,

The wind accompanied by rain,

So is the responsibilities,

At a time when they feel heavy,

A point where one has to let go,

The choice has to be wise,

Ask for wisdom, strength and knowledge from the almighty,

This then turns to a storm,

So put an halt here,

Take time, let the sky calm down,

Take the decision at the spring or autumn,

When the sky is neutral,

Summer or winter is not a time for decision,

Stop the obstacle that hinders you,

The decision taken be viable,

Let the decision be sustainable,

Neither money nor wealth would bring happiness and joy,

But the thing that gives us a tranquil state,

The thing that money cannot buy,

So think, wealth or health,

Money or happiness,

Choose the best to avoid the worst,

Live by your wills and wish,

Avoid this thunderstorm with this,

So remains your life as it is.

After about a week joining at Madras Christian College (Autonomous) for pursuing my undergraduate course in B.A English Language and Literature under the aided stream I had my first visit to my college library named as 'Miller Memorial Library'. Since, it was my first time I just took a random book from the 'English' section and read it. Then, whenever I had my free hours I started to have regular visits to the library. Till the end of my 1st semester I used to go either to the 'English'or 'Philosophy' section to read. Then, from my 2nd semester onwards I started to use Reading Hall 1 as our syllabus started to have poetry, prose, drama and fiction as I had my own books to read. I felt that my college's library is one among the places that is really good for people who want to use their time productively especially for the arts students.
